Chicken tacos

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • Salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • Taco shells
  • Cholula sauce

Instructions:
  1. Heat taco shells according to package instructions, then set aside.
  2. Place olive oil in saute pan and heat to medium-high heat.  Add ground chicken, chili powder, ground cumin, onion powder, salt/pepper, tomato paste and beef broth.
  3. Cook for 10-15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.  Turn off heat and cover.
  4. Place shredded lettuce, tomato, onion and cheddar on plate.
  5. Serve with taco shells and let everyone make their own.
  6. Top with Cholula sauce and enjoy!
Notes:
  1. You can use ground chicken, ground beef, ground pork or shrimp.
  2. You can use any taco sauce or hot sauce, but I love Cholula sauce.
  3. You can also add sour cream if you like.
  4. Taco holders make it easy to add your filling and toppings.
